This is the Place! and Leigh Ann

Across from the zoo is a big park this lots of monuments. It's called "This is the Place". The Mormon's stopped traveling on the trails out west (Heck with Oregon! It's for hairy heathens) and stayed right here. I am paraphrasing this big plaque for you.

I got a closer look.

In the afternoon, we went over to Heber to see Leigh Ann in her shop. She has a kitty I enjoy chasing around.
That's Leigh Ann.
I helped her rearrange product to give her store a fresh look.

Hogle Zoo

Grandma Judy, Mom and I went to the Salt Lake City Zoo this Saturday morning.
This mountain lion was just as interested in me as I was in him. He followed me the whole length of his pen. This is him looking longingly after me even though I was next door. Nice kitty.
Here is another kitty. This one wasn't as interested in me. Maybe he just ate.....
At the Children's area they had this really fun bridge. I ran back and forth on it for 10 minutes.
We also rode on this train. It was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed it. Grandma also bought me some french fries. Yum.

Halloween

Mom, Grandma Judy, Mary Jane, and I went to Main Street Park City to enjoy the trick or treating-whatever that means.
A beard shot-one of the few-so enjoy! I got really good at ripping it off and throwing it on the ground. I was also feeling a little cranky, hence the pacifier.
You want me to what? Take that bucket and go from shop to shop begging? Doesn't daddy make enough money?
Ok, this isn't so bad. I see lots of other kids begging.
This might be fun after all.

trick or treat

There were lots of dogs in costumes. I guess there was a dog parade at 5 o'clock.
Hey kid, I really like your costume. I love Elmo!
Ok, I think I got this down.
Grandma Judy, I am really over wearing this hat.
We were going to to the haunted school house, but they made me wait too long and I had a huge melt down! Maybe next year, or the next.

Kitty

I finally got my own fluffy cat.
I love her so very much-but not as much as my lion.
Grandma Judy was gathering leaves. I wasn't interested in helping.
I wanted to play with the moving sculptures in the yard. This is interesting....
I can almost reach this one.

Halloween away from home

Me and mom went to Utah for Halloween and we left dad at home alone. Looks like he's doing fine on his own.

Glenwood Cemetery

There is a historic cemetery in Park City. It's nestled at the base of the mountains with a lot of aspens.
Grandma Judy, Mary Jane, Mom and I decided to go for a walk and enjoy the quiet beauty of this place.
The lambs represent a baby or small child. There were a lot of lambs. Times were tough in the 19th century.
I kept wanting to go off the path.
The aspens look like they have eyes. They are such pretty trees.
